My compassion for animals runs deep into childhood and has been a guiding force throughout my life. Over the years, that passion has grown into a career dedicated to helping dogs and their families build stronger, more trusting relationships. I am certified as a Veterinary Assistant, Dog Trainer (DDT), and Canine Behavior Consultant (DCBC), with specialized knowledge in supporting dogs who are sensitive, shy, reactive, or nervous.
As both a trainer and a dog owner, I understand firsthand the challenges and rewards of working with a reactive dog. My own dog, Basil—a sensitive Border Collie Kelpie—has taught me the profound impact a dog’s behavior can have on a household. Through him, I’ve developed not only a deeper professional understanding but also a personal appreciation for the patience, empathy, and dedication it takes to help a dog feel safe and thrive within a family.
Outside of training, I love spending time outdoors year-round—whether hiking, fishing, or exploring with my family. That same adventurous spirit carries into my work, where I encourage dogs and their owners to build confidence together in real-life situations. My goal is to make training a positive, rewarding journey that strengthens the bond between dog and family, creating harmony at home and beyond.
Because training is about connection, not correction
